Wolves hunt their prey in the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, and the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. They eat meat and nutrient-rich offal, as well as vegetables, fruits, berries, roots, and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. This does not include grains. This is how wolves get the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, and phytochemicals they need. Because the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut wet food is based on the natural eating habits of the wolf. It contains plenty of meat or fish combined with superfoods that contain valuable ingredients - and just like in nature, it is completely grain-free. Our selection of exceptional meats and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on the wolf's habitat and colorful diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog an original and species-appropriate diet, and with its variety, there is something for everyone.

The recipe of WILD DUCK SMALL BREED dry food combines the nutrition of the wolf with the latest scientific findings on proper nutrition for dogs.

- With natural Jerusalem artichoke prebiotics

The ingredients in WILD DUCK SMALL BREED were developed in collaboration with veterinarians to match the natural diet of wolves and the findings of holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

- Sweet potato, elderberry, chokeberry, dandelion, topinambur and ginseng.
- Potatoes: They provide complex carbohydrates and fiber, are low in fat, and contain 15 different vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, iron, zinc and phosphorus, as well as high levels of potassium, vitamins B and C.
- Elderberries: In addition to anthocyanins, these black-blue berries contain high levels of vitamin C and folic acid. The pigment sambucyanin is also thought to have anti-inflammatory properties.
- Aronia berries: Aronia contains high levels of phytochemicals that have been linked to health benefits, including flavonoids and phenolic acid.
- Dandelion: It is rich in minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese, and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
- Aniseed: Widely used as a home remedy for its antimicrobial properties.
- Flax Seeds: The fiber and mucilage in these small grains help with digestion and are high in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.
- Jerusalem Artichoke: High in inulin, a prebiotic that stimulates the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
- Ginseng: Used as a medicinal plant in the Asian region. The reason for this is the high nutrient content of the plant, which is rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.

Small breeds usually have low digestive capacity and high metabolism. Wild Duck Small Breed dry food is made up of small pieces of food that are easily digestible because of the natural ingredients. These include

Probiotic FOS (also known as fructooligosaccharides), which is also added to baby food, influences healthy intestinal flora by fighting "bad/pathogenic" bacteria that populate the intestines.
Flavorless Thyme is a natural digestive aid.
