- Sweet potato, elderberry, chokeberry, dandelion, topinambur and ginseng.
- Potatoes: They provide complex carbohydrates and fiber, are low in fat, and contain 15 different vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, iron, zinc and phosphorus, as well as high levels of potassium, vitamins B and C.
- Elderberries: In addition to anthocyanins, these black-blue berries contain high levels of vitamin C and folic acid. The pigment sambucyanin is also thought to have anti-inflammatory properties.
- Aronia berries: Aronia contains high levels of phytochemicals that have been linked to health benefits, including flavonoids and phenolic acid.
- Dandelion: It is rich in minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese, and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
- Aniseed: Widely used as a home remedy for its antimicrobial properties.
- Flax Seeds: The fiber and mucilage in these small grains help with digestion and are high in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.
- Jerusalem Artichoke: High in inulin, a prebiotic that stimulates the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
