- Squash: One of the least caloric vegetables, it is rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. The fiber it contains makes it highly digestible and aids digestion.
- Parsnips: Sweet and savory, rich in calcium, potassium, folic acid, zinc, and vitamin C, parsnips are considered one of the easiest vegetables to digest.
- Chickpeas: Chickpeas are a legume and are rich in healthy nutrients. They contain high-quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins, and calcium.
- Sage: Contains tannins and bitter compounds, as well as a variety of essential oil compounds that aid digestion and relieve gas and bloating.
