The high quality proteins from fresh and dried venison make this food very digestible.
Cheap rapeseed oil, often called canola oil in American diets, has been eliminated as an inappropriate fat source. Oils, however pressed or extracted, are a natural resource, but the concentration and quantity of oilseeds from which they are extracted make them suboptimal for cat nutrition in our opinion.
Instead, naturally derived lamb fat is added and incorporated into the wild cat's food chain, along with the Mediterranean herb mix, various forest fruits, and other wild herbs that are also on the menu of our domestic cat's wild relatives.
It goes without saying that no corn, wheat or soy is used in Wildcat food. Cereals are intolerable to many cats. It is no coincidence that several grains are among the most common allergy triggers today. We have also eliminated additives such as vitamin K3, garlic and cinnamon, which have recently become controversial.
