Himalayan cheese for dogs is a hard, healthy, and completely natural chew. While your dog enjoys gnawing on it, it helps reduce plaque and tartar build-up, supporting good dental hygiene. Our Himalayan chews are made from the milk of free-range Himalayan cows and crafted using a careful, traditional process:
1. The milk is first boiled for one hour to remove fat and pasteurize it.
2. A tiny amount of salt and lime juice (together just 0.01%) is added to coagulate the milk.
3. The curd is pressed for 2–3 days to remove moisture.
4. Finally, the cheese is cut into pieces and dried in a smoking chamber for 20–30 days, giving it its hard texture and delicate smoky flavor.
